Multiple Pathways: The Influence Mechanism of Greenspace Exposure on Mental Health—A Case Study of Hangzhou, China

Greenspace exposure (GSE) may have a positive impact on mental health. However, existing research lacks classification analysis of the influence pathways different GSE Meanwhile, method is limited to measurement green space ratio (GSR) based remote sensing data, which ignores people’s real perception greenspace. This paper aims further expand GSE, taking Hangzhou, China as an example, and reveal mechanism modes We obtained personal information, health, physical activity, other data interviewees through questionnaire (n = 461). Combined with satellite Baidu Street view database, image interpretation deep learning was used obtain GSR, visual (GVR), (GVE). The structural equation model analyze relationship between variables. results showed that: (1) has certain effect health; (2) there are differences in multiple measures health—the GVR GVE interaction perspective human greenspace make more complicated, produce direct indirect paths; (3) perception, sense community, activity can act mediators, effects. Finally, we call for expanding index methods integrating them into management control practices urban planning promote healthy development communities even cities.
